Ballet de France " A Midsummer Night's Dream"
In  "The Lovers" dancers Marc Bernard and Stephen Sturmer vigorously pursue Florence Pageault, who is taken and thrown frome one partner to another in a series of rapid lifts that leave everyone including Pageault wondering who her final partner will be. At the point Françoise Berthon playing the spurned lover appears, throwing herself into the fray. This furthered the mix-up that left the audience laughing. The strength of the movement and the control these dancers exhibited during this dance was exhilirating.
